White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Brownies
It's that time of year again.
Time for school, time for studying and, best of all, time for late-night snacking.
Nothing could complement your studying better than a warm, delicious brownie.
This recipe combines two of my favorite treats: white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies and the classic brownie.
So go nuts-while you're studying for your test.
Recipe: White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Brownies
Serves: 16
Ingredients:
1. One package basic brownie mix (18 ounces) and ingredients listed on package
2. 1/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts
3. 1 cup white chocolate chips, divided
Directions:
1. Prepare brownies according to recipe on package, but stop before pouring batter into baking pan.
2. Add 1/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts and 1/3 cup white chocolate chips to brownie batter.
3. Continue with directions on package, baking until a toothpick inserted into the brownies comes out clean.
4. Melt remaining 2/3 cup white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl for about forty seconds. Stir white chocolate chips together to see if they are melted. If the chips have not combined smoothly, continue to heat them in twenty second intervals, stirring after each time in the microwave until they are completely melted.
5. When the white chocolate is relatively cooled, transfer it into a sandwich bag. Move the white chocolate to one bottom corner of the bag. Make a tiny snip at the corner of the bag and drizzle white chocolate across the brownies.
6. Cut the brownies and enjoy!
